The Lincoln Institute for food Agri-Technology ‘s Autonomous Black-grass Detection project aims to use deep learning to detect black-grass in cereal crops. Deep learning systems require large training image datasets. So we are collecting a large number of images of black-grass in cereal fields (pedestrian, low-impact image collection). We are looking to expand our geographical range outside of Lincolnshire. It would be very helpful to us if farm owners with fields that have a history of black-grass are able to offer their fields for imaging.”
