Professor Simon Pearson, Director of the Lincoln Institute of Agri-food Technology at the University of Lincoln, was invited to deliver a talk at the annual Science and Technology in Society forum on Monday 8th October 2018.

Topics discussed were centred around ‘Advanced Agriculture and Food Industries’.

The Science and Technology in Society (STS) forum aims to provide a new mechanism for open discussions on an informal basis, and to build a human network that would, in time, resolve the new types of problems stemming from the application of science and technology.

The forum was held at Kyoto International Conference Center, Japan.
