University of Lincoln celebrates Agri-Tech Week 2017
As part of Agri-Tech East‘s annual Agri-Tech Week, the Lincoln Institute for Agri-Food Technology hosted a talk on Soils & Water.
On Monday 6th November, 2017, guests at the University of Lincoln’s Riseholme campus had the opportunity to see various presentations and an interactive workshop, covering the impact of coastal flooding on agricultural land as well as the contribution of agrochemicals, especially metaldehydes to water sources.
Speakers included Director of LIAT, Prof Simon Pearson, Head of School of Geography Prof Mark Macklin, Dr Carla Turner, policy advisor at ADAS as well as Dr Iain Gould, Soil Scientist at the Lincoln Institute for Agri-Food Technology.
